The new Vassar Medical Center Patient Pavilion will offer increased access to advanced treatments in a healing environment unlike any other hospital in the mid-Hudson Valley. Vassar is investing half a billion dollars to build a 696,000-square-foot pavilion and renovate 14,000 square feet of existing space. Jersen performed the cast in place concrete foundations for the project, including:
- 22,000 cubic yards of concrete range with mix designs from 3,000psi up to 10,000psi
- Multiple basemat slabs with up to 6’ thick and 2,500 cubic yards each
- 10 concrete cast in place elevator/stairwell shafts up to 200 vertical feet
