TROY, NY – Mayor Carmella R. Mantello today announced the awarded bids for the construction of the long-awaited Knickerbacker Aquatic Center Renovation Project, nearing the completion of one of the city’s most beloved assets. The pool, which has been closed since 2016 and was demolished in 2023, is now on track for a newly constructed and fully accessible aquatic center, with a groundbreaking set this spring.
Following a competitive bidding process, the City of Troy has awarded contracts to the following firms:
- General Construction: Jersen Construction Group
- Mechanical Construction: Danforth
- Electrical Construction: DLC Electric LLC
- Plumbing Construction: Collett Mechanical Inc.
- Engineering: Clough Harbour & Associates (CHA)
