University Suites Student Housing in Albany Coming Soon
Great Ventures, LLC, in cooperation with GSX Solutions and Jersen Construction Group, has begun work on new 190,000 SF student housing in Albany, NY. The 322-bed complex will include state-of-the-art amenities like office space, fitness center, courtyard and clubhouse, as well as an on-site parking garage to include 146 parking spaces.
This project directly implements the Albany 2030 Plan. The complex’s proximity to Albany’s educational institutions and major thoroughfares makes this project a premier location for student housing in Albany. The building is located down the road from the Aspen, which was opened in 2016.
Jersen Construction of Waterford, the general contractor at Aspen Albany and many other educational buildings in the Capital Region, is also building the new 322-bed apartment complex on land where the Red Carpet Inn was demolished. A Chinese real estate developer, DMG Investments LLC — the U.S. subsidiary of DoThinkGroup in Hangzhou, China, is an equity investor in the deal.
